Want to look like Cinderella on your wedding day? Find out how you can rock the same fairytale-inspired bridal makeup that Kris Bernal had on her wedding day.
Kris Bernal is now officially Mrs. Perry Choi, and as she perfectly puts it, their wedding was just like the fairytales she grew up reading and watching.
Aside from wearing a stunning wedding ball gown by designer Mak Tumang, Kris also had fairytale-inspired bridal makeup to complete her look.
Kris's wedding day makeup was done by her makeup artist Carissa Cielo Medved, who served like her fairy godmother that turned her into a modern-day Cinderella.
According to Kris herself, Cinderella is her top most favorite Disney princess.
“She's gentle, brave, full of hope, and empowering,” said Kris in an Instagram post. “Above all, what really got me stoked to her is her kindness. She showed everyone kindness no matter what. No matter how cruel and harsh the people around her were.”
She said it was her idea to add hints of blue to her eye makeup, and we definitely agree that her makeup artist nailed it.
“So, I asked my makeup artist, @carissacielomedved, to add hints of blue on my eyes so everytime I would check myself in the mirror, I'll be reminded of what really makes a person beautiful, his/her heart. And, @carissacielomedved nailed it! 💯 Perfect for my Fairytale-themed wedding, #PerryTaleNiKris ☀️”
Plus, Kris's hair was styled by Bianca Anne Vergara in a high ponytail, adorned with a gorgeous silver hairpiece, which made her look like a true Disney princess.
In a separate IG post, Kris's makeup artist Carissa, also said adding a hint of blue eye shadow to your makeup is a clever way of incorporating the tradition of wearing “something blue” on your wedding day.
Plus, she also gave tips on how to do the gorgeous bridal makeup of Kris Bernal with a hint of blue.
“Ensure the trendy color is concentrated on the eyelid and complete the look with subtle natural-looking lashes, cool-toned blush and a soft nude/pink lip colour. 💙”
